When Eve came home from work, Matthew was already there, sitting at his computer, still lost in thought after his intriguing secret meeting with Caprice. As always, Eve greeted him warmly, asking about his day while mentioning that she still needed to do some laundry.
Matthew, trying to act normal, simply replied that it was just an ordinary day and that he was tired. Without much more conversation, he headed straight to bed.
While sorting clothes in the laundry room, Eve suddenly noticed a small piece of paper falling out of Matthew’s sports trousers. Curious, she picked it up—and what she read left her in shock:
